life is too short to be pessimistic.
in fact, i am considerably anti-pessimistic,
and, therefore, anti-FML.
however, i wouldn't go so far to say that:
"I am overtly optimistic."
Because then that right there would be...
shortsighted && ill-advised.

At this present moment, I am beginning to realize the contiguousness of the exciting month of December (in addition to the start of Advent, of course).
It is at this time that I look back and note that it has been approximately four months (give or take an hour or so) since I have started the blog, but even more interesting is the fact that my last post took place about 21 weeks ago (plus 2 days xD).
Thus, it has become apparent that one of those phenomenon things I learned in psychology class actually occurs in real life. The ‘phenomenon’ I am referring to is that of the “self-fulfilling prophecy”.
As I quote (myself from four months ago):
“Expect 2 to 3 more posts and then months of inactivity, as I seemingly never fail to forget to keep up with any blog. I must’ve deleted 3-4 Xangas.”
Hmm. Weird.
At any rate, the events which somehow transpired over the weekend such as Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Caroling/Tinikling, [and coughcoughCRUSHaSTARFISH!coughcough] have collectively been the catalyst to this post, while simultaneously having almost nothing to do with the contents of this post. Going places and doing other things besides college apps (ew.) and school work (double ew._) just reminded me that I had a blog =P.
Sigh. I always type too much, and yet manage to say nothing. :)
